We were sitting chatting last night.
I looked over at him, sitting in his chair with presciption sunglasses on.
“Hey Buddy, Dad is Joe Cool, might even be undercover officer. What do you think?”
Wayne thought a moment then said he wanted to thank me for helping him so much. The conversation went on for quite a while.
(The night before his eyeglasses fell apart. Our optician ordered new ones but in the mean while, thank goodness for Rx sunglasses!)
Life still gives you some normal moments…to boost you up for the big ones that turn everything upside down!
“Joe Cool” I like that. HUGS
Awww… sweet!
Thankful there was some time of good conversation. What a blessing. It will truly give you a good memory to hold on to when the conversations are otherwise. Prayers and blessings on both of you today and always.
Joe Cool – cool.
I’ve been catching up on the last 8 posts. I love the way his sense of humor always shines thru. He is JOE COOL!
Are they the aviator glasses he is familiar with from days gone by? They can bring back memories and probably some stories too if the fog lifts for a bit.
JC is way cool for a name!

You must be very grateful for the lucid moments, Jean. I would be.
I remember Joe Cool. That’s a great moment. Love and appreciation…just what a marriage should be.
This reminds me of that sweet song, “Time in a Bottle.” If only ….
I hope today brings you both reasons to smile and yes, even laugh.
