We arrived home, talked a bit to assure him all was well.
By 12 noon, fatigue from stress hit. We slept til 6:30pm.
Back in bed at 11pm.
Happy to report he was not as upset as his first time.
My eyes swept across the dining room til they met his. He jumped up, window sill catching his over turned chair.
He tried to take a step toward me but was standing on a shoe lace.
“Is it really you?” We hugged forever.”You must be a long lost brother and sister” said a gentle voice at his table.
He held me tight, “No, she’s my husband.”
We’ve had so much company the past week. Although we love it, my computer time “suffers” and that’s not good:)
All is well, our company is here for a bit yet so if I’m not on, no cause for alarm.
Also, I will try to get blogs read. I think yours was one of the last I read, Chatty, so will carry on.
To add insult to our busyness, the workers are back. Buddy is not impressed. He likes his peace and quiet.
Hopefully all the money spent will give me a magical return – I know, dreaming again.
Take care, my friends, and I will get to your posts as soon as I can. We just got in from dinner in the “big smoke” all of 30 minutes away. Our meal was huge and I couldn’t eat my salad to save room for lemon meringue pie. I know, I know. I haven’t had a piece of pie in so long I can’t remember so seems I deserved it – lots of twisted reasoning going on here tonight!
We’re sitting here talking about this ‘n that – mostly that. Lordy, sometimes I wish for normalcy.
(And don’t feel sorry for me, it’s just the truth) Someone told me to post exactly how I feel, said that I couldn’t – it would be too upsetting. The returned comment was, “Why not?”)
