Today he offered to help as I emptied the dish washer. It’s a confusing chore for him but he just sits all day so thought he may benefit.
I put the cutlery tray on the counter over the cutlery drawer. He couldn’t do it.

After he left to lie down, I put them away.

I have mentioned before that I set jars of filtered water on the counter beside the fridge.
Long story short, it’s so much easier than trying to find the fridge, maybe checking out the freezer compartment to finally tearing the fridge apart seeking a water jar.

Today he headed directly for the “water area” and poured his glass. I could tell he was puzzled. He finally emptied the other full water jar a bit and poured the water left in the jar he used for his glass.

I watched as he poured the water from his glass back into the empty jar.
Being he hadn’t seen me, I offered to get him a glass of water and he graciously accepted it.

Among other things, Wayne has a diploma in electrotechnology – too bad he can’t fix these malfunctioning circuits.
