I tend to “go over the day” when I’m sitting alone. Some days have been real winners and some not.

As we climb this mountain, I am getting a bit nervous. Like weather high on the peaks, things change quickly and I wonder/worry and stew about what’s next.

AD manifested itself in 2000 so I am very grateful to have had him “at home” so many years. In December 2003, our geriatric specialist told me that I’d have Wayne home 2 good years – it’s been over 5 years now since the doctor said that.

I could never figure out why he’d ask if we need 3 or four glasses when it was only the two of us.

Last night I finally got it – asked him “to get the glasses” and he brought 2 but said, “Is 3 correct?”

“Show me three, Wayne.”

He pointed to the top and bottom of each glass, counting one, two, three, four.

“Oh, I brought four.”
