So Wayne has been sneezing a bit today. When I said, “Bless you” he said I’ll tell you what the problem is – it’s the floor.
“The floor?”
“Yes, I’m getting my chain saw and going to remove the floor.”
Ok, Hon, and I’m hiding the work shop keys. He actually was talking gibberish about it by the time I turned the conversation around.
We had dark walnut installed a couple years ago – I offered to buy area rugs to “hide” the floor – “No, I’ll just cut it out.”

He’s a “take action” kind of guy. I like that…but I’m glad he didn’t actually remove the floor with his chain saw. That wouldn’t have been good!

Using rugs sounds like a good idea…although it may not stop his sneezing. :)

Hmmm… that’s like when the table was making him sneeze. Has the table been giving him any more trouble, or is it just the floor now? So odd… if the table cloth helped solve the table-sneezing problem, I’m guessing area rugs are the way to go with the floor.

I’m so sorry – sounds like things are getting a little worse. That da– disease.

In addition to hiding the keys to the workshop, maybe stow the chain saw somewhere off property?

The brain is an amazing thing how it functions and malfunctions. I know you must be at wit’s end to solve the “problems.” I think acknowledging his reality and meeting him there must be exhausting but so important to help him maintain dignity or not feel foolish. Just one of the things I admire about you…Love, Annette
