So he did very well today – we had several stops to make before my haircut. As the stylist finished cutting, I mentioned I’d book for Tuesday for some streaks. “I can do it now, next client canceled!”
Looked over toward Wayne, he was reading a magazine, content.
So now my curls are “blonder” in a flash! It sure helps when people do stuff like that. Living where we do adds nearly an hour to appointments – one way! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
After all this, we deserved DQ ice cream. Oh, yeah. I had a hot fudge sundae, but only a medium.
Wayne had a medium chocolate dipped cone. We patted our tummies in satisfaction and carried on homeward.
Oh Jean–hot fudge sundaes are my absolute fav at DQ. When my husband & I were dating (many years ago) we would go to DQ and I would get one. Yum.
I don’t now, though, because of (ahem) an expanding middle.
Yay for the new lighter shade and the full tummy.
So glad you had a good day. DQ – Mmmmm!
A blonder you and DQ, too! Sounds like a perfect day!
Sounds as if you two had a darn, good, day!
Aren’t they an extra special treat when they happen?
A good day.
Now that is success and satisfaction all rolled into one:)
Sounds like a wonderful day! Hubby and I used to share a hot fudge sundae when his appetite cut back so much. I stil remember the taste – heavenly! Yummmmmm!
I’m glad your hair appointment turned out so well. The little things make all the difference, don’t they?
