I commented that the air conditioner had kicked in again – it’s set at 80 – it’s so smokey here due to 2 out of control wild fires.
Anyway, he asked, “We’re not going to stay here tonight are we. We’ll go there.” He was pointing to the dining room.
“No, we will sleep in our bed tonight.”
“Do we have a bed?”

Oh, Jean. I don’t know what to say. How can you stand it?

Ah, Judy. I guess it becomes the norm. But I have to say, I think we will be lucky to make Christmas at home this year – which is my goal.

How is Canada’s healthcare there for this disease? Can you just pick a time or do they? Hope I didn’t offend you by this question. I feel your pain and your love for him. It must kill you to let him go – but seeing his decline makes you ‘see’ a clearer picture?

I sometimes feel the pain of each post will keep me from reading again but then I realize you are living the pain of each post and the least I can do is try to absorb some of that for you and for Wayne. It is a lonely stroll but such a courageous couple you are to make this journey together as you promised. You both remain in my prayers.

Where oh where do you get your incredible strength???

Put me down as a hater of this disease, too.

Sending love and hugs your way…

My heart just sank when I spotted this title. But, like Granny Annie says, you are living this pain. I’m honestly humbled; and here I’ll remain, learning from your pain and sending unending cyber hugs.
