I showered too late in the evening. My hair is thick and at 9:30pm, told him I had to blow it dry, “Are you Ok for a few minutes?”

Later, he commented how long my hair is.

“I guess you go to the little place, the place where the ladies go to put their make up on.” He was gesturing to the main bath in the hallway.

I told him he was right, ladies seem to use that bathroom. “Yeah, I know, Jean used to use it.”

It’s been awhile since I’ve bathed him – he didn’t fuss at all but disagreed that the warm soak felt good.
His response: “I felt good before getting in the tub.” He was smiling.

I did his toes and finger nails and fussed with his hair. Year ago he used to use a product “Details” after he shampooed. I saw it in the vanity and put some on. He looks so handsome all cleaned up and hair shining.

As I look over at him, I cannot believe his “fate” but many are worse off – I have to remember that.
