One care aide is just the most dynamic, lovable person.
She often drives Wayne into town to spend some time just bumming around or visiting her pottery studio.
On Friday night, she showed me a lovely dish he had been working on for me – over several weeks.
It touched my heart that he chose a deep blue over mint green – she offered him the 2 choices for color.
On the back, she wrote in the clay, For Jean (heart) Wayne.
He came from the bedroom while she was still here and we gently tried to prod him about the dish. He didn’t remember anything about it.
(I took a pic of it but it won’t load due to some computer blah, blah, blah – after I talk to computer son, hopefully I can post it, so beautiful a gift for you to see)
What a nice project, maybe it will come back to him some time, that he was making it for you.
He knew when he was making it that it was for YOU…
Looking forward to see the dish when your computer is ‘fixed’….. The aide sounds wonderful..thank God for good hearted people.

I can’t wait to see the beautiful dish. Deep blue is my favorite color and apparently it’s one your prefer too. He remembered that.

What a lovely expression of his love for you. Can’t wait to see it.
I suspect that dish will be a cherished gift you keep for a long time…
I’ll bet Wayne knows all about the dish. He worked on it and thought of you. For a few moments, he forgot about the dish until he sees it. That’s all. Would love to see a pic.
By the way, Jean, my Dad is still in a MD nursing home (3 years). For his 84th birthday, he received a colostomy so a bed sore can heal in his diaper area. Isn’t that something? Sigh…
That care aide’s a keeper! So is Wayne. His love for you runs all thru his heart and soul despite the short circuits above.
I agree with what everyone said. Can’t wait to see a picture of it!
Blessings come in small packages or even in bowls!
So special, Jean.
