Today was the first day Wayne was at a loss for words he wanted.
His Christmas cactus is in bud, we had it soaking for a half hour, timer set.
When the timer rang, I said it was for the cactus. “I’ll do it.”
He jumped out of his chair, headed to the hall and picked up some shoes. When I told him it was in the kitchen sink, he acknowledged and walked into the main bath.
By now I’m getting up to help. Guided him to the sink, showed him the cactus and he lifted the hand towel, “There’s a, a, a blanket here.”
He lifted the cactus from it’s saucer, put the “blanket” in the saucer and went back to his chair.
Oh my, you must be a loss too. I cannot imagine what you are living through. It can only be a day at a time. Hugs to you.
I hate AD too!!
