Kraft Dinner. Oh my kids loved it! And hubby and I eat it once in a while. I do consider it comfort food and totally understand you turning to humble KD in these times.
You made me smile - leaving the cheese packets on the counter. Oh Jean - it's tough. The house must feel empty.

I know you're not just writing about comfort food - you were looking for actual comfort. Your world must be mixed up and so confused right now. Nothing making sense. I am thinking about you my friend.

What is KD, might I ask?

I too have been known to drink out of the milk carton after the kids left the house and felt kind of guilty but it was a nice guilty.

Ok Jean, I'm not judging your comfort food of chili with mushroom soup, but it certainly does sound "different".....I say that I'm not judging, because my favorite comfort food is pinto beans with crumbled corn bread on top with mayonnaise stirred into it..... sounds and looks gross, but to me..... very good.
