Everyone is tired! They are all in bed having a midday siesta.
I got Wayne settled and decided I’d sit up with my thoughts.
The turkey will be ready for 6pm. This year is much easier dinner than ever: Turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, a mixed veg medley and corn for Wayne! Sis is bringing a favorite jellied salad and I have cranberry. Easy, easy!
Merry Christmas to you, my dear friend…Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, as always
That’s the best way, Jean. I think the people being together and sharing is more important that the food anyway! Let us know how it all goes.
Sounds great. We had Ham. My son loves to eat and crave the ham at the same time. He just craves and eats. Never really sits down at the table.
It was nice just Mom,my son and I . And we had a white Christmas.
I meant to say cut the ham not crave. He craves it too.
Oh how I love easy!! We had mashed potatoes, ham, rolls, broccoli salad and lots of junk food, but ….. the best part…. it was easy. We have enough stress..we don’t need to stress about food.
You’re in my thoughts and prayers!
Again I say, “Merry Christmas sweet friend.”
Yummy – sounds delicious. Don’t know how easy that was. I am sure you were glad that every one was there.
