Only one son was able to come for Christmas, the other will come in January, 2010.

They are both worth their weight in gold and more to Dad and I. I haven’t had to drive since December 23rd, I’m a passenger and happy to be.

We take Dad out (of the care home) everyday and today I stayed home while the drive was made. The care home is at least 80km (50 miles) from our house so it’s a huge, loving gesture to do this for me.

Merry Christmas, Sons, you have always made us feel loved and cared for and we’re proud to say you “belong” to us! xx oo from Dad and Mom!

Why do I feel quite certain that their responses to this would be that their parents are worth their weight in gold!

Isn’t it wonderful having grown children that are thoughful to our needs?

I may be partial, but having two boys is so wonderful. Glad you are getting to see them both. You can extend your holiday, and have each one to yourself…I sometimes like to see everyone together, but, then it ends up a blur of activity. When I am with only one, I get in a word or two…lol

How wonderful for you to be able to have someone to let you have an extra hour off to get things ready. Your drive is 50 miles one way and then back? Two hours a day? That is so wonderful of you. You are his angel – someone is yours.
