He was leaning forward a bit and squinting. Speaking is difficult and words are often mixed up but he was mouthing aloud, “B – - Bob – - -”

I looked in the direction and there on a resident’s door was the name “Brian”.

(Shortly before I had just told him that Brian and Mark send their love.)

“That name on the door is Brian, Wayne. Same as one of our sons.”

He agreed and I could tell he remembered. “Would you like to say hi to Brian?”

He smiled and nodded a yes.

Got Brian on the line and Wayne couldn’t say hi but he was smiling the biggest, happiest smile all the while Brian spoke to him. How precious is that?

It is wonderful to know that Wayne still remembers your sons. And I am sure it is wonderful for Brian to know that.
